Values and Vision Establishment
Values and Vision Establishment is a facilitated process where your leadership team defines its core values and writes a clear, shared vision: where the company is going, why, and how you'll know you got there.
Book a CallWhat are core values, and why do they matter?
Definition: Core values. The small set of principles (usually three to seven) that define how your people behave and decide. They're the standard you hire, fire, review, and recognize against.
Values matter because they're the "right people" half of Right People, Right Seats. Without them, people decisions come down to gut feel.
What makes a vision usable?
A usable vision is short, specific, and written down. Everyone on the leadership team can say it the same way, and it breaks down into this year's goals and this quarter's priorities.
What's included?
- Leadership team session(s) to discover and define core values, in plain language with no wall-poster clichés
- Clarification of purpose, focus, long-term target, and near-term goals
- A written vision document the team signs off on
- A plan to roll values and vision out to the rest of the company
- Connection to your hiring, review, and meeting cadence so they stay alive
Who is it for?
Leadership teams that are growing fast, merging, recovering from turnover, or simply can't answer "What do we stand for?" the same way twice.
What does it cost?
Values and vision work is usually delivered in half-day ($2,500) or full-day ($5,000) sessions, and it's included in every Operating System Build-out.
