Visionary/Integrator Relationship Coaching
Visionary/Integrator Relationship Coaching works with the two people at the top, the idea-driven Visionary and the execution-driven Integrator, so they agree on roles, decision rights, and direction and lead the company as one.
Book a Visionary/Integrator SessionWhat is the Visionary/Integrator relationship?
Definition: Visionary. The leader, often the founder, who generates ideas, sets long-term direction, guards the culture, and builds key relationships.
Definition: Integrator. The leader who turns that vision into day-to-day execution and runs the leadership team.
When the two work well together, the company moves fast and stays focused. When they don't, the leadership team gets mixed signals and stalls.

How do I fix the Visionary-Integrator relationship?
Start by writing down who owns which decisions, agree on one shared vision and set of priorities, and hold a recurring meeting between just the two of you to resolve issues before they reach the team.
Our coaching works through five steps:
- 01
Separate the roles. Spell out what the Visionary owns, what the Integrator owns, and what you decide together.
- 02
Agree on the vision. One version, written down, that both of you will defend in front of the team.
- 03
Set the rules of engagement. How new ideas get introduced, how disagreements get resolved, and who has the final word on what.
- 04
Install a two-person cadence. A short, recurring Visionary/Integrator meeting with a standing agenda.
- 05
Present one voice. The leadership team hears one direction, not two.
What are the signs the relationship is broken?
- The team waits to see which of you "wins" before acting.
- New ideas show up mid-quarter and blow up agreed priorities.
- The Integrator has responsibility but not authority.
- The Visionary feels shut out of their own company.
- The same disagreement resurfaces every quarter.
